Mendon, Mass. – Southwick’s Zoo is introducing an all-new culinary experience this summer with the debut of its Within the Wild Dining Series, an exclusive after-hours event that combines fine dining with the beauty of wildlife in a setting unlike any other in New England.
Offered on Friday, August 7 and Friday, September 18, this limited dining experience invites guests to enjoy an evening at the zoo after regular operating hours. The evening begins with an after-hours stroll through the zoo, allowing guests to experience the peaceful atmosphere as the day comes to a close. As the sun sets, guests will gather alongside the Siamang habitat for a thoughtfully crafted four-course dinner surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
Each Within the Wild experience includes:
- An exclusive after-hours walk through Southwick’s Zoo (approximately one hour)
- A seasonal four-course chef-designed menu featuring an appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert
- Beverage pairings with a choice of traditional cocktails or non-alcoholic options
- A unique outdoor dining experience overlooking the Siamang habitat at sunset
Designed for those looking to enjoy an unforgettable evening in a truly distinctive setting, Within the Wild offers a rare opportunity to experience Southwick’s Zoo in a new way while savoring exceptional cuisine.
The event takes place from 5:00 p.m. until dusk and costs $225 per person, including tax and gratuity. Seating is extremely limited, and advance reservations are required.
