2021 Zoo Season

We will open as a walk thru on April 12, 2021 (weather permitting)

10:00am - 3:00pm
Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat, & Sun:
10:00am - 5:00pm

Admission Information

We will open for our 2021 season on April 12, 2021 (weather permitting).

Admission will not be available to purchase at the entrance. All visitors are required to purchase tickets online (or make a reservation online if you have pre-purchased tickets) for a specific visit date and entry time.

Reminder: Certain species may remain indoors and off exhibit when we first open until daytime and nighttime temperatures are consistently warm enough to safely move them to their habitats in the zoo.

2019 and 2020 Tickets: The expiration dates of unused tickets originally purchased for the 2019 or 2020 season have been extended until October 31, 2021. If you have pre-purchased tickets, you will need to make a Previously Purchased Ticket Reservation for your visit date and entry time.

Value Pass

Value Passes are punch cards that include 12 admissions. Each time you use an admission, we will punch a hole in the pass.

Value Passes can only be purchased online at this time. We will scan the barcode on your email confirmation at the entrance and provide you with the punch card ticket.

If You Have Pre-Purchased Admission

If you have pre-purchased admission, please make a "Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation"  for a specific date and entry time.

You will need to bring your Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation AND your previously purchased ticket(s) to gain entry. Your reservation must be made for the same number of pre-purchased tickets you plan on using. Tickets may be printed or shown on your phone.

NOTICE: Please note that mechanical kiddie rides are closed at this time.  There will be no discounts or refunds given if using Zoo-It-All admission.

EARTH Limited Members

Members of EARTH Limited can use their membership to visit when we open for our 2021 season. Since we must track the number of visitors in the zoo each day, EARTH members will need to reserve a date and entry time for their visit, however.

Military Rates

If you have an Active Service Military ID, Dependent Military ID, or Veteran Military ID please select "Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation" on our ticket sales page and make a reservation under this option.

Active Service receive free Admission Only, so they will just need to print their reservation (or show it on their phone) to present along with their ID at our entrance.

Dependents of Active Service will need to make a reservation as well as provide payment of $15 admission for each dependent and show their dependent military ID at the Guest services window.

Veterans will also need to make a reservation and provide a payment of $15 and show their veteran ID at the Guest Services Window.

2021 COVID Guidelines

We are committed to ensuring that our visitors have an enjoyable experience and we are taking measures to promote social distancing, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19. We rely on you to protect yourself too. Please follow all guidelines listed below, and if you are sick or believe you have been recently exposed to the virus, please do not visit until well.

If you are not comfortable visiting us as a walk thru, we recommend visiting us during a Drive Thru Zoofari tour for a limited contact option.

Buy Tickets Online

Tickets cannot be purchased at the entrance at this time. Admission must be purchased (or reserved if using pre-purchased tickets) online in advance for your visit date and entry time.

Wear a Mask

All visitors over the age of 2 must wear a face mask covering their nose AND mouth during their entire visit. Please check in with zoo staff at admissions if you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons.

Practice Social Distancing

Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from other visitor groups and zoo staff.

Wash Your Hands Often

Please wash or sanitize your hands frequently. Try to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth if you have unwashed hands.

No Outside Food

Guests cannot bring outside food into the zoo. Smaller items such as snacks, a water bottle, formula and any childcare necessities, or food required for medical reasons are allowed. Coolers and full lunches cannot be brought into the zoo.

No Coolers, Large Bags, or Backpacks

Guests cannot bring coolers, backpacks, large bags, into the zoo. Smaller bags are permitted, however.

We reserve the right to inspect any bags brought into the zoo.

Try to Limit Your Visit to 3 Hours

To help avoid crowding, please try to limit your zoo visit to about 3 hours. Re-Entry is not allowed at this time, so please plan your visit accordingly.

Additional Tips for Visiting During the 2021 Season

• If it is a weekend or the weather is nice, we will have more visitors. We are operating at a reduced daily capacity, however we will be busier on weekends, holidays, and days with ideal weather. If you or a family member has an underlying health condition, we recommend visiting us as a Drive Thru for a reduced contact experience. Click here to learn more about Drive Thru Zoofari Tours.

• Some visitor groups are large families. Please remember that what looks like a group of people not social distancing may actually be a larger family.

• When eating or drinking, please be careful to stay 6 feet away from other visitor groups. Please also be respectful of other guests and refrain from eating or drinking while on a main pathways.

• Be respectful of other guests. Rules and guidelines are in place for the benefit of you, your family, other visitors, our staff, and the animals.
