Admission Information

Admission is free for children ages 2 years and under. Tickets do not need to be purchased for children under the age of 3 years.

Following state requirements, visitors are required to purchase tickets online for a specific date and entry time. If you already have pre-purchased admission, you will need to reserve a visit date and entry time (learn more below). Tickets cannot be purchased at the entrance at this time.

If You Have Pre-Purchased Admission:

We are still required to track and limit the number of visitors in the zoo, so people with pre-purchased tickets will need to make a reservation for their visit date and entry time online.

If you have pre-purchased admission, please make a Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation (no, you do not need to make a payment when placing this reservation) for a specific date and entry time.

You will need to bring your Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation AND your previously purchased ticket(s) to gain entry. Your reservation must be made for the same number of pre-purchased tickets you plan on using. Tickets may be printed or shown on your phone.

Pre-Purchased Admission Includes: Pre-purchased Admission Only or Zoo-It-All tickets, Library Passes, Value Passes, Free Passes, Donated Tickets, Corporate Tickets

NOTICE: You may use any type of zoo ticket listed above, but please note that, most rides are still closed at this time.  There will be no discounts or refunds given if using Zoo-It-All admission during this time. If you have Zoo-It-All admission, we recommend waiting to use your tickets until later this summer we are hopefully able to open our rides or until the 2021 season.

Unused 2019 Tickets & 2020 Tickets

Just a reminder that the expiration date of unused 2019 admission tickets and 2020 admission tickets has been extended until October 31, 2021. Those with pre-purchased admission still have the option to hold onto their tickets and wait to use them later this season or during next year's season.

Military ID Discounts

If you have an Active Service Military ID, Dependent Military ID, or Veteran Military ID please select "Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation" on our ticket sales page and make a reservation under this option.

Active Service receive free Admission Only, so they will just need to print their reservation (or show it on their phone) to present along with their ID at our entrance. 

Dependents of Active Service will need to make a reservation as well as provide payment of $15 admission for each dependent and show their dependent military ID at the Guest services window.

Veterans will also need to make a reservation and provide a payment of $15 and show their veteran ID at the Guest Services Window.  Please note that dependents of veterans do not receive a discount and must purchase Phased tickets (this option is located above the previously purchased reservation section).

EARTH Members

Members of EARTH Limited can use their membership during this time. Since we must control the number of visitors in the zoo each day, EARTH members will be required to reserve a  date and entry time for their visit, however. Click here to learn more.

Food Venues -  Please note that outside food cannot be brought into the zoo, and guests cannot bring in coolers or large bags. Small food items such as water bottles and small snacks are still permitted, however.

Reminder: Some attractions and features are weather permitting.

*Rides and the Rainforest Adventure Maze are not included with general admission. Zoo-It-All admission tickets include the Skyfari, Train, and 1 free entry into the Maze, however they do not include pony rides, camel rides, or the Soaring Eagle Zip Line. Mechanical kiddie rides are still closed, so we do not recommend using Zoo-It-All tickets at this time.

What is currently closed?

Per state regulations, the following are closed or unavailable:

• Mechanical Kiddie Rides
• Indoor Reptile Exhibit - (NOTE: opening July 6th)
• The EARTH Discovery Center
• Shows and Presentations
• Elkhorn Mine
• Animal Encounters
(Note: Rhino Encounters will begin the weekend of June 20th. Click here to learn more.)

Additional Guidelines

• No Re-entry - Guests will not be able to exit and re-enter the zoo during Phase Two.
• No Outside Food -
Guests cannot bring outside food into the zoo. Exceptions may be made for smaller items such as small snacks, a water bottle, formula and any childcare necessities, or food required for medical reasons. Coolers and full lunches cannot be brought into the zoo, however.
• No Coolers, Lunches, Large Backpacks, or Large Bags - Smaller bags may be brought into the zoo, however. We reserve the right to inspect any bags brought into the zoo.

Health & Safety Guidelines

We are committed to ensuring that our visitors have an enjoyable experience and we are taking measures to promote social distancing, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19. We rely on you to protect yourself too.

If you are sick or believe you have been recently exposed to the virus, please do not visit until well. We recommend that visitors who are over 65 years old or with underlying health issues wait to visit during later phases.

Cover Your Mouth & Nose With a Face Mask

All visitors over the age of 2 must wear a face mask during their entire visit, excluding those unable to wear a face covering for medical reasons. Please check in with zoo staff at admissions if you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons.

We recommend that guests who are unable to wear a face mask wait until later phases to visit.

 

Practice Social Distancing

Please practice social distancing and maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from other visitor groups and zoo staff. We will provide guests with a one-way route to tour the zoo to help maintain social distancing more easily.

 

Wash your hands often & Avoid Touching Your Face

Please wash or sanitize your hands frequently. When washing your hands, remember to wash using soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Our restrooms will be cleaned and sanitized between each use. When you use hand sanitizer, rub your hands together until they feel dry.

Try to avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth if you have unwashed hands.

Avoid Touching Surfaces

We are trying our best to keep surfaces in the zoo as santized as possible, but please try to avoid touching surfaces to reduce potential exposure and the spread of COVID-19. Remember to wash or sanitize your hands after touching anything other guests may have touched.
