Unlike normal cows, Ankole-Watusi species do not produce high quantities of milk. At most, the Watusi will produce 1-2 liters of milk. In comparison, conventional cows can produce around 20 liters.

Despite their large size and body mass, this cattle breed has an impressive jumping ability and can run at speeds upwards of 25 mph.

Their horns are the largest among all cattle. An Ankole-Watusi horn can weigh between 9-16 lbs and have an extremely large circumference.
