2020 Harvest Fest

Celebrate the bounty of fall at the zoo!

Join us on Sunday, October 25th for an event featuring craft vendors, live entertainment, and more!

Harvest Fest is included with zoo admission. Please be aware that admission MUST be purchased online in advance (if you have already purchased tickets, please make a reservation online under the “Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation” section).

Harvest Fest takes place during our Zoo Boo event, so admission for Harvest Fest can be purchased under the “Zoo Boo Days” section of our ticket sales site.

Harvest Fest takes place during our Zoo Boo Weekends event, so children ages 3-12 in costume receive free admission with the purchase of adult Zoo Boo admission.  Two free children allowed per adult Zoo Boo admission purchased. Zoo Boo admission MUST be purchased online in advance.

*Children must be in costume to be eligible for the offer. Offer is not available at the entrance. Free child offer cannot be combined with Previously Purchased Admission, military rates, or any other offers. Offer is only available for families and is not valid for birthday parties, private event packages, field trips, day cares, boy scout or girl scout troops, corporate outings, or other groups. Offer applies to admission only and cannot be applied to Zoo-It-All admission, EARTH memberships, or Value Passes.

Music & Presentation Schedule

When enjoying live music, interacting with vendors, or attending any educational presentations, please remember that guests are required to wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth at all times during their visit. Please practice social distancing and remain at least 6 feet from other visitor groups.

Presentations and keepers talks are weather permitting.

11:30am: Keeper Talk + Enrichment at the Serval Habitat

11:30am: Keeper Talk with Russell Crow the pied crow outside of Bird Show Arena

1:00pm: Meet & Greet with parrots at the Bird Show Arena

1:30pm-2:30pm: Creepy Crawlies Up Close outside of the reptile exhibit. Stop by between 1:30pm and 2:30pm for a brief meet and greet with some of EARTH’s creepier animal ambassadors!

2:00pm: Enrichment at the Hyena Habitat

3:00pm: Keeper talk with Red-Legged Seriema at the Bird Show Arena

4:00pm:  Keeper Talk + Enrichment at the Coati Habitat

Do I need to wear a mask? Are there other special guidelines to follow?

Yes, guests are REQUIRED to wear a mask covering their face and nose during their zoo visit.  In addition to our usual rules and guidelines, all zoo visitors must follow our 2020 visitor guidelines.

Harvest Fest is one of our most popular events. We are operating at a reduced capacity, however, we will likely be busy. If you do not feel comfortable being around other visitors at this time, we strongly recommend visiting on a less popular day or visiting us as a Drive Thru.

We are committed to ensuring that our visitors have an enjoyable experience, and we are taking measures to promote social distancing, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19. We rely on you to protect yourself too. Please review our 2020 visitor information page for additional guidelines.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

No, admission tickets cannot be purchased at the entrance. Admission tickets MUST be purchased in advance online for your visit date and entry time. Harvest Fest takes place during Zoo Boo weekends, so admission can be purchased under the “Zoo Boo Days Admission” section.

If you have pre-purchased tickets (i.e. tickets you purchased before the start of our 2020 season, unused 2019 tickets, donated tickets, etc.), please make a reservation for your visit date and entry time under the “Previously Purchased Tickets Reservation” section. Reminder: The Zoo Boo free child offer CANNOT be combined with previously purchased tickets, military rates, or other offers.

We are required by the state to limit our daily capacity, so each entry time has a limited number of tickets available. We do not recommend waiting until the last minute to purchase tickets or make your reservation.

How does the Zoo Boo free child in costume offer work this year?

Harvest Fest takes place during our Zoo Boo Weekends event, so children ages 3-12 in costume can receive free general admission with the purchase of adult Zoo Boo admission. A maximum of 2 free children are allowed per adult Zoo Boo admission purchased.

Admission tickets MUST be purchased in advance online for your visit date and entry time. Zoo Boo admission can be purchased under the “Zoo Boo Days Admission” section of our ticket sales site. You will be able to make your free child in costume reservation when you purchase you adult Zoo Boo admission online.

Reminder: The Zoo Boo free child offer CANNOT be combined with previously purchased tickets, military rates, or other offers.

Will there be a Beer Garden this year?

We are very sorry, however there will not be a Beer Garden or beer tasting during this year’s Harvest Fest. Guests will be able to purchase beer in Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern.

Can children trick or treat in the zoo this year?

We are very sorry, but there will be no trick or treating this year due concerns over COVID.
