Kick off your zoo day with a stop at Touch-A-Truck, a FREE community event hosted in the parking lot of Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern! On Saturday, May 16, police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and their first responders will be on-site for kids to explore, ask questions, and get an up-close look at the vehicles that keep our communities safe. Additionally, browse local vendors who are committed to supporting First Responders.
In honor of Police, Fire, and EMT Week, all first responders receive free admission to Southwick’s Zoo — so bring the whole crew and make a full day of it!
Confirmed Vendors as of 05/13 include:Â
- DLS Ceramics
- Ladders and Lumber
- L+B’s Treats n Sweets
- Lisa’s Mia Bella Candles
- Faina Chaka
- Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter
A special thank you goes to our sponsor, Scafuto’s Barbershop, who will be on site offering FREE neck shaves to first responders and military. Neck shaves will be offered at a price point of $5 to the general public.
