Make your child’s spring and summer break a wild adventure with our educational programs!
Is your child wild about animals and zoology? These educational programs, organized by EARTH Limited, offer children the perfect opportunity to explore Southwick’s Zoo and learn through hands on activities! Our young adventurers get to experience some of our animals up close and personal, visit our local wetlands to learn about native wildlife, learn through play via games and activities, get creative with crafts and art projects, and more!
If you have any questions about Wild Adventure Programs you can contact Bob Clark, the Wild Adventure Program director, at [email protected].
Spring Wild Adventure Programs
Grades 2-6
We offer single-day sessions during April vacation for children in grades 2-6. This program offers an overview of all of the animals in the zoo, and children learn through hands-on activities such as games and animal encounters!
Summer Wild Adventure Programs
Grades k-10
Summer Wild Adventure Programs are available for grades K-10. Our young adventurers will explore the zoo and learn through a variety of interactive activities such as games, crafts, and even meeting some of our animal ambassadors up close and personal. All Summer Wild Adventure students also get to tie-dye their own t-shirt to bring home. Programs range from a 3-day mini program for children entering grades K-2 to a program for older children interested in careers relating to zoology.
